Shingle roofers are a dime a dozen, yet we still manage to stick out in the crowd. Just because Bob & Jim with a pickup truck can buy some shingles from their local hardware store dirt cheap, it doesn’t make them a roofing expert. There are many factors that go into a shingle roof that determine how long your shingle roof will “really” last and if it will be leak-free. A few points that get overlooked are valleys (open or closed), tearing off or going over top, gutter and downspout sizing, brand of shingle, ridge vents, ice and water shield on low eaves and valleys, hip and ridge shingles, and safety. We do the work with in-house crews and make sure we are following OSHA standards. If you’re a typical homeowner, we probably aren’t the contractor for you.
