Money may not grow on trees, but it can grow on your roof.  The solar or PV market has exploded recently in response to a combination of events: the government (federal tax credits, stimulus money), the green movement (clean energy production, reduced carbon footprint), improved solar panel efficiency (crystalline and thin-film) and rising energy prices (energy de-regulation).  Even with all of these forces aligning, solar may not work for your roof based on the size, location, rooftop penetrations, and current electric rates.  Contact GSM Roofing and we’ll examine your roof and your electric usage to help determine if solar makes sense for you.

WARNING:  Do not install solar panels on a roof, especially an older roof, without first consulting a roofing professional.  You are opening yourself up to untold headaches (leaks, voiding the warranty) and financial pain down the road (significantly increased maintenance and replacement costs) if your roof is not correctly prepared ahead of time.
